Dr. Meg's Detox was awesome! It was exactly what I needed to reset my body. I went into it thinking I was going to feel hungry and probably veer from the plan but I was surprised on how delicious the food really was. I highly recommend doing her detox! She is also a great coach and I plan to participate in her next detox.
I have been paying attention to everything that goes into my mouth and I am amazed at how often I caught myself attempting to put something in my mouth when I was in the kitchen. Meg does all the work, providing a handbook, checklists, grocery lists, meal plans, tips and enough meals and recipes to last for 2 weeks and she's there everyday checking in and supporting you along the way. She also set up a virtual community of people who are all in this together. It was motivating to connect with others, see what everyone was experiencing and eating!!
I was nervous to do this, past experiences with detoxes = being hungry, experiencing headaches from sugar and caffeine withdrawal, not enjoying the experience because changing habits is hard. Other than experiencing an initial headache which Meg helped me manage using supplements, this detox was easy! I looked forward to all the meals, they were easy to make, absolutely delish and I still use them!
